At Love the Game UK, we are proud to offer opportunities for all children who want to develop their football and, through this, we are continuing to build opportunities specifically for girls in the local area.
Our girls’ football programme is designed to provide players with a positive environment where they can improve, have fun and develop their love for the game. Sessions are supported by Adam Simpson, our former Premier League Club Category 1 Academy Lead Coach, with our philosophy centred around the individual player and providing the right balance of support, challenge and opportunity.
Our programme follows a player-focused curriculum covering both tactical and technical aspects of the game, helping players develop their overall understanding, confidence and ability on the pitch.
Our coaching principles are simple: avoid long queues, minimise breaks and maximise time with the ball. Game play and ball-rolling time are vital to a child’s development, and we want every player to have as many opportunities as possible to play, learn and enjoy the game.
